You sold eighteen months ago. What did the first Monday feel like?
Like a snow day. Delightful for about four hours. Then I realised nobody was going to call, and I didn’t know what I was for.
What did you try first?
All the obvious things. Advising, angel cheques, a board seat. They were fine. They were also a way of staying in the old room with a visitor’s badge. It took a year to admit that.
What changed?
Someone asked me what I’d build if nobody would ever hear about it. I didn’t have an answer, which was the answer. I’d been building for the audience for a long time.
And Tuesdays?
Still working on Tuesdays.
